Frequently asked questions
Can OP Software generate the e-invoice and e-way bill together?
Yes. One step from the saved sale bill creates the IRN and its e-way bill. A wrong vehicle number never cancels the IRN; you fix it and update Part B.
Do I need to log in to the e-way bill portal?
No day-to-day portal login is needed. You create an API user on the NIC portal once, and OP Software does the rest from your bill.
How does OP Software work out the e-way bill distance?
It uses the distance you type, otherwise the party's saved distance, otherwise the portal calculates it from the PIN codes. If the portal refuses the distance, you enter it inline and can save it for that party.
